OMG I can't believe I stumbled on this website while looking for a roommate for my UA bound daughter. I wish I had looked at it sooner and I am so jealous of all who attended, it looks like you all had a blast. I love the photo section, everyone looks great and most of you I recognized immediately. I cannot believe it's been (almost) 20 years!!!

I so enjoy this whole setup. I can talk to people I haven't seen in years. And I can find out things that I would not normally know(because i live in a bubble). Life is short and it is important to tell the people who helped shape you how much they mean to you. Lord knows I wouldn't go back to high school but it was fun while it lasted! Anyway, thanks to Moose for the website! It is very enjoyable!

Wow, this site has really been fun. What a great job. I've enjoyed reading about everyone and seeing pictures of your families. Really wish I could of came to the reunion but as a football coach in NC it's hard to come to Alabama during football season. However, I've enjoyed the pictures from it. I wish you would put names under the pictures so I'd know who they were. I'm looking forward to the next reunion. Tracie and I have already said we wouldn't miss another one. Y'all be good. Shane #35

Wow is right:) I thought the Reunion was such a blast! I had so much fun seeing everyone but after looking at the pics there were a lot of people I didn't see! We had such a good turnout and the committee did a super job! Thank-you so much for the time and effort you all put in for the special night. I left at midnight only because I knew my baby would be up at 5. I could have stayed longer...maybe at the next one! Take care everyone!

I should have been in the number to graduate in 88. But instead I chose to quit and get married. But I did go back later and get my GED which I am very proud. I have 2 wonderful daughters that now go to Sardis and I work in Albertville at a well known company and for the most part really enjoy it. Hope that you all are doing great and thanks to a friend that told me about this site so I too could look back in time and remember.

Hey guys! I am the younger sister of Christy Carroll who passed away in 1995. I am an 1992 grad of AHS. I stumbled upon the website on classmates.com. I live in NC now and am so glad I found out the reunion is this year. I wish Christy were still around to be there. I am working on trying to find some pictures for a power point presentation. As your Principal I am demanding that you attend your reunion and have a great time!
Unfortunately, as humbled as I am for the invitation, it looks like I will not be able to attend as I am expecting my first Grandchild in September!
For those of you who may have wondered, after Albertville High I returned to the Birmingham area as the Principal of Pelham High School in Shelby County. After ten years there I left to become the Assistant Superintendent of Operations for Shelby County Schools.
I have so many fond memories of AHS and many of you! It is great to read about each of you and your families.

Hey Everyone! Since Tim asked the question I'll be happy to tell. I have just left employment after 14 years as a VP of Sales for a much higher calling. Beginning July 1st this year I began in the full-time ministry. That should show that God does indeed have a sense of humor. After years of running, I finally gave my entire life to serving God. I am now the full-tim Worship Paster at Solitude in Albertville. If any of you folks don't have a home church, come visit. Sunday am's at 8:30am. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

I had no intentions of coming to the reunion, but after spending hours on the website, I think that I will. My first turn on was the golf tournament at the country club. My daughter is having a heart procedure the following Tuesday so you can see where my mind was. They say it is minor, hopefully it is.
Does anyone know what Lee Fleming is up to. Haven't seen him since I was visiting my uncle in prison and his wife and kids were visiting him.

Yes, Kandie it does seem like yeaterday! :) Unfortunately it was actually only thirteen days ago that Pete graduated from Shelby County High School and will be leaving for UWA in about 8 weeks. He will turn 19 the day of the reunion. Time doesn't stand still does it? I can't wait to see everyone! Regardless of the calendar none of us are really grown ups are we?
